About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Partnership team, you will be the analytical engine driving our inventory strategy. You will transform complex traffic data into actionable business insights, directly supporting Campaign Managers (CM) in optimizing delivery performance and providing our Partnership (BD) team with data-backed leverage for SSP negotiations. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between market supply and advertising demand.

Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Analysis & Demand Forecasting
  • Inventory Monitoring: Perform daily tracking of inventory health and provide early warnings on traffic fluctuations to ensure campaign stability.
  • Supply-Demand Matching: Analyze current and future campaign requirements (Demand) to develop long-term supply plans and resource allocation strategies.
  • Insight Generation: Translate demand trends across different regions, ad formats, and specific publishers into concrete supply forecast reports.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration & Product Optimization
  • Operational Advisor: Act as a technical consultant for the CM team, providing expert advice on inventory utilization and troubleshooting delivery issues.
  • Feedback Loop for R&D: Collect data signals on inventory patterns to provide feedback to Product Managers (PM) and AI Scientists for model optimization and feature enhancement.
  • Analytics Infrastructure: Assist in developing and maintaining automated dashboards (e.g., Tableau, SQL) to ensure stakeholders have access to real-time inventory dynamics.
  1. Partnership Data Support
  • Benchmarking: Utilize SSP partner data to extract market benchmarks (e.g., eCPM, CTR) and produce insight reports to support commercial negotiations and product innovation.
  • Traffic Allocation: Collaborate with SSPs to research traffic allocation strategies, balancing partner revenue with Appier’s delivery performance.

About You

Essential

  • Professional Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in data analysis, supply management, or digital advertising.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Programmatic Advertising, Real-Time Bidding (RTB), or ad delivery optimization logic.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to transform raw data into "Actionable Insights" that drive business impact.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Japanese or Mandarin is a plus.

Nice to Have
