We’re looking for a proactive, organised and collaborative Business Administrator who helps keep the day-to-day of the business running smoothly and enables momentum across teams and territories.



The Role

The Business Administrator is responsible for keeping core administrative, systems, people and compliance processes running effectively across the business. Reporting to the Head of People and Performance, this role plays a vital part in enabling managers, teams and senior leaders to stay focused on delivery.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role for someone who enjoys variety, structure and seeing things through — from first request to completion.



Key Responsibilities

Business & People Administration

  • Produce and maintain regular reports that help managers make informed decisions.
  • Support payroll administration by maintaining accurate employee records and system changes.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and onboarding activities, including preparation of documents and system access.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including equipment return, system access updates and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date people and business data across internal systems (finance, operational and people.
  • Support day-to-day operations and admin allowing the Head of People and Performance to operate as an HR, learning and development direction and advisory.

Compliance & Governance Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Compliance Manager, helping maintain orderly, up-to-date compliance records and documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling, tracking and documenting routine compliance activities (e.g. training records, quarterly reports etc).
  • Support the organisation and maintenance of compliance registers, audits and evidence repositories.
  • Help ensure compliance processes are followed consistently across teams and territories (without providing compliance advice).

Office, IT & Supplier Coordination

  • Manage IT equipment and office assets for employees, including ordering, tracking and returns.
  • Coordinate office management activities such as travel bookings, accommodation, events, utilities and office supplies.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party suppliers and contractors (e.g. payroll providers, IT suppliers).
  • Support diary coordination and administrative scheduling where required

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not an HR advisory or employee-relations role.
  • This is not a UK-only role — the scope is pan-European.
  • This is not a strategic or senior leadership position.
  • This is not a compliance decision-making role (administrative support only).

Practicalities

  • Title: Part-Time Business Administrator

  • Reporting to: Head of People and Performance

  • Location: Remote (UK or EU)

  • Working pattern: 21 hours / 3 days per week (flexible)

  • Salary: £27,000 FTE (GBP)

    • Pro-rata for 3 days per week: ~£16,200 p.a.
