  • Identify code violations and provide guidance on corrective actions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to support project schedules and deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, building inspection, or code enforcement.

Current New York State Building Code Inspector or Code Enforcement Official certification.

Strong working knowledge of New York State Building Codes and construction practices.

Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel up to 25 miles for site inspections.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
