We are looking for an experienced Building Automation Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will act as the connecting link between the client, sales, and the technical team, helping ensure that our solutions are technically sound, fully integrable, and reliably operational.
Your mission is to act as the technical lead in designing and integrating building automation (HVAC/BMS) solutions for commercial real estate projects.
You are not managing the construction site - your strength lies in understanding the overall system architecture, designing control logic, integrating devices, and ensuring solutions operate reliably and scale effectively.
You will work closely with the Operations team, project managers, and the Sales team. You are responsible for the design of automation solutions and their integrations, ensuring they are well thought through, feasible, and aligned with the real needs of each project.
As a Building Automation Engineer at Bisly, you will be responsible for:
Design and architect building automation and BMS solutions;
Integrate HVAC, heating, cooling, metering and other building systems;
Analyze and implement protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA, TCP/IP;
Develop system logic and configurations;
Support Sales with technical solution definition and cost estimation input;
Support Project Managers during implementation;
System configuration, commissioning support, testing and troubleshooting;
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Practical experience in designing and integrating BMS/building automation systems;
Strong understanding of HVAC and building technical systems;
Experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, Honeywell or similar);
Knowledge of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA, etc.);
Structured, systems-level thinking;
Ability to take ownership of technical solutions;
Professional Estonian and English.
Nice to have:
Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python);
IT/OT integration background;
Professional qualification: Certified Automation Engineer Level 7 or 8.
