Role: Build/test environment support engineer         

Job Description

Key responsibilities/challenges:

· perform deployment for multiple environments and applications in echannels space

· maintenance of build scripts

· perform code merger (java and unix shell scripts) from multiple sources – vendors, in-house development teams

· take up ownership of all environment issues in sit (system integration testing) and uat (user acceptance testing) environments

· investigate sit and uat defects

· maintenance of sit and uat system configurations

Experience/skills required:

· should have a technical degree holder in computer science/computer engineering, local universities preferred (nus, ntu, smu)

· 5 years working experience in system and users support for internet facing applications

· strong team player, effective in communications

· ability to multi task and work across different applications

· must be a quick self-learner and possess ability to work independently.

· demonstrated proficiency in unix, java programming (j2ee), oracle sql, oracle weblogic, apache webserver

· knowledge of multi-tier systems in general (application server, middleware, backend)

· understanding of web based technologies, networks

· experience with jenkins, ant, clearcase/clearquest, aldon.
