Role:- Build/Test Environment Support Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

· Perform deployment for multiple environments and applications in eChannels space

· Maintenance of build scripts

· Perform code merger (Java and UNIX Shell scripts) from multiple sources – vendors, in-house development teams

· Take up ownership of all environment issues in SIT (system integration testing) and UAT (user acceptance testing) environments

· Investigate SIT and UAT defects

· Maintenance of SIT and UAT system configurations

Experience/Skills Required:

· Should have a technical degree holder in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, local universities preferred (NUS, NTU, SMU)

· 5 years working experience in system and users support for internet facing applications

· Strong team player, effective in communications

· Ability to multi task and work across different applications

· Must be a quick self-learner and possess ability to work independently.

· Demonstrated proficiency in Unix, Java Programming (J2EE), Oracle SQL, Oracle Web Logic, Apache Webserver

· Knowledge of multi-tier systems in general (Application server, middleware, backend)

· Understanding of Web based technologies, Networks

· Experience with JENKINS, ANT, Clear Case/Clear Quest, Aldon preferred.
