As a Brand Designer you’ll be a key player on Virta’s Brand Design team, leading the design of experiences that grow our reach and help more people to reverse metabolic disease and live healthier lives. In this role, you’ll lead the design and execution of myriad initiatives like building and optimizing landing pages, emails, slide decks, direct mail and motion graphics, designing end-to-end marketing campaign assets and rationalizing design decisions based on real world evidence and testing. Ideally you’re a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, working within an established brand and is able to turn real-world insights into functional, elegant design solutions, and can design across different disciplines.
Contribute to the development and evolution of Virta’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing touchpoints, externally and internally
Use a mix of graphic design, motion design, web design, and video editing to bring Virta’s brand to life across marketing channels. You’ll work hands-on in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with opportunities to support website and landing page work in tools like Webflow
Design and support creative across a range of marketing touchpoints, including landing pages, email, paid social, presentations, and campaign assets. You may also contribute to larger moments like website updates, launches, or brand storytelling initiatives.
Help translate complex topics—like metabolic disease, weight loss, and behavior change—into visual stories that feel clear, human, and motivating. You’ll partner with writers, marketers, and subject-matter experts to make evidence-based ideas more accessible through design
Work closely with teammates across Brand Design, Growth, Retention, Product Marketing, Sales and Content. Collaborate with external partners such as photographers, illustrators, and motion designers
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
Form a solid foundation of knowledge around Virta’s visual brand principles
Meet and begin to build relationships with partners you’ll work closely with
Understand Virta’s position in the market and start building creative that gets us closer to our mission
Take ownership of small projects or components within larger initiatives, with support and guidance from senior designers
4+ years experience designing marketing assets like landing pages, emails, slide decks, direct mail and data visualizations with some experience and desire to leverage AI tools to optimize workflow
A strong conceptual thinker with the ability to come up with multiple novel solutions to design problems, who also can take work through production to the finished product
Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud—Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
A strong and versatile portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of knowledge, skills, projects, and media including web design, motion design, and print design
You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is able to identify areas of improvement and take initiative
Experience with video editing and motion graphics including tooling like Adobe Premiere and After Effects
Experience working in website building/CMS tools like Webflow
Design systems experience for web—understanding atomic design principles and how to scale them within Figma’s tooling

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. For this role, the compensation range is $125,367 - $142,054. Information about Virta’s benefits is on our Careers page at: https://www.virtahealth.com/careers.
