THE ROLE 

The Box Office Agent is responsible for all facets of ticket sales, resolution of guest inquiries, and accurate financial reconciliation, ensuring a smooth and professional first point of contact for every guest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Patron Transactions

  • Process all ticket sales, upgrades, and exchanges using the designated ticketing system efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile all credit, and digital transactions at the end of the shift, ensuring balance with sales reports.

Will Call & Guest Resolution

  • Manage the Will Call operation, verifying identification and efficiently distributing tickets.
  • Resolve complex ticketing issues or seat relocations with composure and accuracy.
  • Provide excellent service to all guests, including artist, promoter and venue guests, ensuring that each experience is engaging and seamless. 

Team & Compliance

  • Maintain the security and professional cleanliness of the box office area.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding ticket inventory changes, holds, and event sales status.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/local alcohol service regulations, as well as Health & Safety.
  • Perform additional support tasks and duties to assist coworkers or as requested by leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES

  • 2+ years of experience in the same or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency with major ticketing software (e.g. Ticketmaster) and point of sale (POS) systems is required.

COMPENSATION 

$25/hr
