Bookkeeper & Accounts Collection Specialist (Construction)

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong accounts receivable and collections experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, and QuickBooks Time, with the ability to manage full-cycle bookkeeping and actively collect outstanding debts owed to the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Handle accounts receivable and actively collect outstanding debts from customers.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Process payroll using QuickBooks Payroll.
• Manage employee time tracking through QuickBooks Time.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience in the construction industry (required).
• Strong experience in accounts receivable and collections.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, and QuickBooks Time.
• Knowledge of construction accounting practices (progress billing, retainage, job costing preferred).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and assertive in collections.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow up professionally with clients.
