Bookkeeper / Accountant (Factoring & Merchant Cash Advance)

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with a strong background in factoring companies and Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing high-volume transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online. This role is critical in ensuring precise reporting, cash flow tracking, and compliance in a fast-paced finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for factoring and MCA transactions.
• Record, track, and reconcile daily funding, repayments, fees, and reserves.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online.
• Maintain accurate ledgers for client advances, paybacks, and balances.
• Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare clean and organized books for tax preparation and audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with factoring companies and/or Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) businesses.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of cash flow–driven financial models.
• Experience reconciling high-volume transactions.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
