BIM Coordinator

Kemet Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to join its Cairo office. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless integration, clash-free designs, and efficient project delivery within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and ensure timely resolution of conflicts
• Monitor and maintain model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper model integration and coordination
• Support the development and implementation of BIM execution plans
• Facilitate coordination meetings and communicate technical issues effectively
• Ensure timely updates and alignment of BIM models throughout project phases
• Assist in improving BIM workflows and coordination processes

Requirements

• Proven experience in BIM coordination and clash detection
• Strong expertise in BIM tools, especially Navisworks
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structure, and MEP)
• Ability to work collaboratively within project teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple coordination tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
