Role overview

Dentons Business Services EMEA is currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join the UKIME Team. This role is accountable for a variety of billing activities, with a primary focus on ensuring the billing process for assigned partners’ portfolios is effectively managed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day billing tasks.
  • Comply with the firm’s policies and obligations, and effectively manage any risks related to this role.
  • Ensure the highest quality of invoices sent to clients.
  • Generate various WIP (Work in Progress) reports for Billing Team members.
  • Support colleagues and resolve standard cases to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including partners, personal assistants, and local finance teams.
  • Work with the Revenue Management Team to identify and implement improvements to the billing process.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in finance; experience in billing is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (B2/C1 level, both written and spoken); knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of legal, financial, or accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of the 3E system would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with internal and external clients, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
