This role will have a sizable and direct impact on driving down our outstanding invoices. You will be joining a strong team that values teamwork, problem solving, a willingness to dive into the details, and a learn-it-all attitude.

How You’ll Contribute at Buildout

  • Be maniacal about managing all overdue AR and working on payment plans until you reconcile all payments on a customer’s account

  • Translate customer contracts and Salesforce data into accurate invoices for each customer, setting up billing schedules

  • Serve as the main point of contact for our customers, responding to billing support tickets addressing customer concerns via phone and email

  • Be welcomed into the innovative and collaborative Buildout team. Get to know your teammates and work in sync to deliver our number 1 mission: a world-class, end-to-end customer experience

  • Make mistakes, improve for the next time, and develop enviably thick-skin from these experiences to propel you through the rest of your career, at Buildout and beyond

  • Take the work, but not yourself, seriously

What Makes a Great Candidate

  • Experience with corporate billing, accounts receivable, or collections; SaaS experience or contract billing preferred

  • Experience with billing systems; Sage Intacct is a plus but not required

  • Customer service experience, you bring interpersonal skills and a deep customer focus to provide a Buildout Quality experience for our customers

  • Extreme attention to detail and able to prioritize your day and workload

  • A team player mentality, highly coachable, self-motivated and interested in growing your career

  • Constantly improving, someone who loves feedback and proactively finds new ways to get better at their job

  • Insatiably curious, adaptable to change and desire to learn in a fast-paced environment

We know there are great candidates who won’t check all of these boxes, and we also know you might bring important skills that we haven’t considered. If that’s you, don’t hesitate to apply and tell us about yourself.
