Role Purpose
The Billing & Activation Specialist plays a key role in supporting customer onboarding and billing operations by ensuring accurate setup of customer accounts, subscription plans, and billing profiles. This role helps ensure operational accuracy, smooth customer activation, and timely invoicing while providing an excellent foundation for a career in accounting, billing, and SaaS operations.
Responsibilities
- Process customer account activations and subscription setup accurately and efficiently
- Create and maintain customer billing profiles, ensuring correct pricing, plans, and subscription details
- Review billing data to ensure accuracy and support timely invoicing
- Monitor activation workflows and follow up on pending or incomplete requests
- Assist in identifying and resolving billing discrepancies or activation issues
- Maintain accurate records in internal billing systems and tools
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, and Operations teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, billing procedures, and service terms
- Support continuous improvement of billing and activation processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
