The Billing/Accounts Receivable Analyst reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and is a broadly-based role responsible for the day-to-day Billing function including monitoring the AR Aging, reviewing new contract billable components, establishing sales orders, and invoicing all transactional and milestone/time-designated billings. This role will also assist in providing weekly/monthly reporting for management on status of overdue receivable and general receivable positions by customers. This position will also need good communication skills as they will have direct communication with the client customers.


GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review all new customer contracts – identify all billable components (along with the revenue manager and Controller)
  • Establish sales orders to drive future customer billings
  • Weekly follow-ups with customers for collections once their invoices become due
  • Troubleshoot any questions from customers on invoices received
  • Communicate in bi-weekly calls with sales team regarding new billable items found in contract pricebooks
  • Comply with monthly AR cutoff timing and have all invoices created by the end of the final business day of each month
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Ability to create spreadsheets and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software
