Responsibilities
- Patient/Client Outreach: Call eligible participants to educate them on care programs or clarify insurance documentation with carriers and lenders.
- Enrollment & Documentation: Support patients through the enrollment process or process insurance policy downloads and administrative updates.
- Certificate Management: Process certificate of insurance (COI) requests within 24–48 hour service timelines.
- Renewal Tracking: Monitor renewal lists and retrieve policies from carrier portals to ensure timely distribution to clients.
- Reporting: Submit daily progress updates and maintain accurate records within Agency Management Systems or CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Care Managers or Insurance Account Managers to improve process efficiency.
Requirements
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent English and Spanish (written and verbal) is crucial for this patient/client base.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or high-touch customer service.
- Tech Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, cloud-based systems, and navigating multiple web portals.
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with health insurance benefits or carrier portal navigation.
- Experience with CCM/RPM care programs is a major plus.
