THE ROLE: We're looking for a Bicycle Technician with experience in E-bicycle maintenance and repair. The Electric Bicycle Mechanic demands a self-starting, challenge-seeking individual who can look at their work like it’s solving a puzzle to be put together and is excited by this type of environment. We're looking for someone who is detail oriented, organized, and enjoys working with their hands. . Reporting to the Quality Supervisor The Bicycle Mechanic is responsible for the following:
  • Assemble bikes and perform quality control inspections, reporting any possible QC issues to upper management. 
  • Repair and maintenance of bike fleet to the highest of standards of quality and safety; assessing wear and tear, accidental damage, or ongoing warranty issues. 
  • Diagnose and repair of e-bike parts and systems. 
  • Completely disassemble bikes down to the frame. 
  • Create feedback loops with the relevant stakeholders; improving and iterating on our existing processes and policies.
  • Able to lift more than 50+ lbs
  • Assist with events: delivering bikes for company events
  • Experience
  • 1 year of relevant experience e.g. bicycles (electric or not). 
  • Working knowledge of how bikes are assembled and repaired. 
  • Working knowledge of how to diagnose electric component issues of a bike is highly preferred. 
  • A passion for bikes, micro mobility, e-mobility, and/or bicycle technology
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, whether written or oral, in order to collaborate, train, and document processes.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
