The role of the team is: 

  • to define the partnership strategy (new partners, etc.) within Coface global strategy 

  • to develop partnership business supporting local teams 

  • to accompany entities in launching partnership business, in negotiation, in solution making, etc.  

  • to coordinate group experts (Reinsurance, Legal, Finance…) 

  • to steer performance of partners 

  • to update standards and rules  

  • to identify best practices  

  • to transfer knowledge to Coface teams 

  • to bring support to Coface entities to manage the relationship with their partners  

Mission

Drive strategic partnerships to expand Coface Business Information solutions through indirect sales channels (resellers, platforms/integrators, marketplaces). The role involves identifying partnership opportunities, evaluating partner platforms for suitability, managing technical integrations (API), and fostering relationships with C-level decision makers.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

Collaboration skills / client oriented / collaboration / Leadership 

  • Working together with Coface entities by attending meetings/calls with existing and potential partners, defining/handling the partnership strategy, negotiating partnership models 

  • Act as the central entry point of contact for local entities and/or partners (escalation process). 

  • Building strong relationships with Coface entities through regular and proactive communication, respond swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from them and from partners 

  • Coordinating group experts required to enhance or to incept partner relationship 

 

Education 
5-year College Degree required (Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or equivalent). 

MBA or equivalent preferred  

Experience 

  • Minimum 5-7 years in business development 

  • previous experience in one of the following sectors : consulting, finance, and project management  

  • In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to know how best to negotiate and anticipate legal issues 

  • Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment will be a plus.
