Position Overview

The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst supports the Chief Data Scientist and the CIO, focusing on data analysis, reporting, visualization, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This role works closely with internal teams to collect, validate, and interpret business data, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights that drive organizational performance.
This role will also work with the Application development team to engineer business application interfaces via commercial API’s and IPaaS platforms


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and organize business data from internal systems and external sources. 
  • Maintain accurate and accessible datasets, dashboards, and data pipelines. 
  • Analyze operational, financial, and marketing data to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Design and publish dashboards; automate recurring reports and ensure reliable data refreshes. 
  • Present complex data in clear, visual formats for leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and seamless integration. 


Core Competencies and Technical Skills

  • Analytical thinking and data visualization. 
  • Collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency
    with Power BI, Domo, Excel, SQL, Python, and key vendor APIs.
     
  • Familiarity with data governance and documentation platforms. 


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, can substitute with applicable experience
    and certifications.
     
  • 3+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting. 
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and vendors preferred. 
  • Interest or experience in data governance and business intelligence tools is beneficial.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours.
