Our client is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of its utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio across the United States. This individual will manage financial reporting, compliance, stakeholder relations, and technical operations in collaboration with contractors and internal global teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of BESS assets, including O&M oversight, performance monitoring, and warranty compliance.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Interface with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and local authorities.
- Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
- Oversee insurance strategies and claims management based on asset risk profiles.
- Coordinate interconnection processes with transmission and distribution entities.
- Collaborate with global headquarters (Japan) and manage cross-functional project execution.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in renewable energy asset management (solar, wind, or BESS)
- Experience in utility-scale BESS or hybrid PV+BESS projects
- Strong financial knowledge (P&L, tax equity structures, DSCR)
- Familiarity with ERCOT or other U.S. ISOs (e.g., PJM, MISO, CAISO)
- Proven ability to manage contractors and complex stakeholder environments
