The Role:

Join the Upstream Rehabilitation team where your work makes a real impact! As a Benefits Coordinator, you will be a trusted resource for employees, delivering high‑quality support across all areas of benefits administration. You’ll lead the planning and execution of open and ongoing enrollment, guide team members through their benefit options, and provide clear education and training when needed. You’ll also help connect employees with key programs such as LOA and COBRA, ensuring they feel supported throughout every step of their experience.

In this role, you’ll be an essential contributor to Upstream’s mission, vision, and values: helping create a positive, informed, and supportive employee experience across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and administer all employee benefit programs with accuracy, care and efficiency.
  • Manage the fully benefits lifecycle (from enrollment to COBRA) ensuring all notifications, approvals, and reporting are completed on time.
  • Assist employees with benefit questions, troubleshooting and enrollment guidance. Delivering clear and friendly support.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, employees, vendors and guests.
  • Respond to all inquiries within 1-2 business days aiming for one-call resolution whenever possible.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and organizational policies related to employment and benefits administration.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality for all employee information.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bring 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration, including insurance, leave management, workers compensation and COBRA.
  • Possess strong computer skills, including experience with web-based systems and data management tools.
  • Adapt easily to changing environments and shifting priorities.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Capable of balancing multiple tasks and deadlines with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000/year

Estimated pay ranges listed above are based on several factors including but not limited to your pay class, experience, background and geographic location of the clinic

Benefits and eligibility are dependent on employment status and pay class (full-time, part-time, or PRN). Specific details will be provided during the hiring process.
