Beewise is transforming beekeeping with our robotic, AI-powered BeeHome™—a revolutionary technology designed to protect pollinators and support sustainable agriculture. As part of our Bees for Buildings program, we install hives at commercial and residential sites to bring pollination, education, and nature back into urban spaces. We're looking for experienced freelance beekeepers to maintain these hives and lead meaningful, educational events for our clients.
Maintain Client Hives
Perform inspections and routine maintenance on BeeHome™ units at various client sites
Respond to on-call hive issues such as swarming, malfunctions, and colony health concerns
Lead Educational Experiences
Facilitate engaging sessions such as hive dives, honey tastings, and pollinator education events
Represent Beewise with professionalism, passion, and a strong understanding of both bees and technology
Support Client Engagement
Act as a trusted beekeeping advisor to clients, helping them understand hive behavior and the importance of pollinators
Deliver thoughtful, timely follow-ups and communicate field updates back to the Beewise team
Experienced: At least 5 years of hands-on beekeeping experience
Knowledgeable: Skilled in honey extraction and hive health management
Engaging: Able to lead educational, interactive workshops for all ages and comfort levels
Reliable: Comfortable with on-call hive visits and flexible scheduling
Adaptable: Willing to work with AI-powered robotic hives (we provide training)
Communicative: Clear, friendly, and professional with clients and internal teams
Experience with corporate or educational beekeeping programs
Knowledge of culinary applications of honey
Background in sustainability education or community outreach
