As a self-employed Payments Consultant at Dojo, you'll operate like a mini-CEO—building your own business while promoting market-leading payment solutions. You’ll prospect, educate, and onboard small businesses, managing your own pipeline and reaping both upfront and residual earnings from each merchant you bring on board
Prospect and engage with local small businesses across your chosen patch
Present tailored end‑to‑end payment solutions (POS, mPOS, e-commerce)
Close deals to meet/exceed monthly targets
Manage CRM pipeline meticulously
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing, onboarding)
Collect and relay market feedback to internal stakeholders
Represent Dojo at events and grow your local brand presence
1–2+ years of B2B sales experience, with preference for field sales and fintech or digital solutions knowledge
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, target-driven
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with business owners
Ability to work independently in your region (UK licence and vehicle preferred)
Bonus: previous payment industry or financial services experience
Commission-only, self-employed role with uncapped earning potential
High upfront commission per onboarding, plus monthly residual payments per active merchant
Commission paid daily and residual income for the life of your accounts
Full product training, ongoing support, and access to sales tools and webinars
You're a driven self-starter with field sales or B2B experience
You want full autonomy and uncapped income
You enjoy face-to-face selling, building pipelines, and nurturing client relationships
You thrive on community and collaboration, even as an independent operator
You're excited to disrupt payments and empower local businesses
