Beauty Content Creator: Resident

Gallery Media Group includes women’s lifestyle brand PureWow (W25-45), youth male culture brand, ONE37pm (M18-34), and a collection of 75+ social-first consumer brands, such as @cocktails, @moms, and @recipes, on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. In addition to premium advertising solutions and consumer-facing events, the company has a robust influencer marketing business with a vast creator network that GMG employs for work on behalf of their Fortune 500 clients.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company. 

Gallery Media Group is looking for a beauty content creator to join its Growth team in a resident position. 

The ideal candidate will be looking to kick start a career in social media marketing and/or digital publishing. You will be a beauty enthusiast with experience making video content for TikTok and a strong understanding of what performs on social. 

Collaboration, creativity and attention to detail are key characteristics that will help the individual thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities:

• You will be ideate and create video content for our social handles and beauty clients as needed
• Daily social media management and posting
• Ongoing community management across social platforms and handles
• You will monitor the success of content and ideate on ways to improve and optimize performance

Skills and experience:

• A strong understanding of TikTok
• Makeup skills and a enthusiastic interest in beauty
• Video editing and photoshop proficiency is required 
• You are reliable, motivated, self-sufficient, and a fast worker
• Creative thinking and tons of ideas and a finger on the pulse of culture
• You have proven experience with digital storytelling (either on your own handles or elsewhere)  
• Relevant internship experience or education is preferred, but not required

Salary: $17.00 per hour
