As a part-time Barista at Lightcast, you’ll be a key part of our Facilities team, keeping our workplace running smoothly by serving high-quality coffee and maintaining clean, well-stocked kitchens across the office. This is a great opportunity for a college student or early-career professional who enjoys a structured morning schedule, takes pride in attention to detail, and wants consistent weekday hours in a professional environment.
This role is on-site at our Moscow, ID location. Candidates must live within 50 miles and be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 11:30 am.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and more, following established recipes and quality standards.
Maintain beverage quality and consistency by cleaning and calibrating equipment and following all hygiene and safety practices.
Keep all kitchens, appliances, and coffee equipment clean, organized, and operational.
Manage kitchen inventory by ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
Coordinate routine service and maintenance for espresso and grinder machines, including scheduling and tracking technician visits.
Support the Facilities team with light operational tasks such as trash removal, spill cleanup, and receiving supplies.
Education and Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a barista, retail, customer-facing, or food and beverage role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented.
Clear communicator with internal team members and external vendors.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
