Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. Kasa has built a hospitality operating system that fundamentally improves the profitability of hospitality assets while delivering a high quality, digitally forward experience to guests. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.
Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences.
Location: State specific location - LOS ANGELES
We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our California Portfolio team. As a barista, you will have end-to-end ownership over the on-the-ground operations for STILE Downtown Los Angeles. In this role, you will prepare and craft a variety of refreshing beverages for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who has worked previously in a juice bar or coffee house, as a barista or bartender preparing coffee drinks, fresh drinks, or cocktails. You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
This role is a part of our California Portfolio Operations. Our department's mission is to ensure our guests have a seamless experience. Our team members at Kasa are located all over the country, have diverse backgrounds, and come from many different industries. Everyone joined Kasa because they are passionate about delivering high-quality standards to ensure that our guests love their experience while staying with Kasa.
Like many operations roles, there is no ‘typical day.’ Your role will involve a wide range of activities tending to the hotel operation. As a Barista, your day is dynamic and customer-centric, focusing on delivering exceptional service at the café or coffee bar. Beginning by setting up the coffee station, your warm welcome to guests includes crafting specialty coffees and teas while managing transactions with precision. Beyond the counter, maintaining café cleanliness and collaborating with the front of the house staff to ensure a smooth service flow are integral. Your role extends to educating guests on coffee blends and methods, while actively contributing to café upkeep and cleanliness throughout the day. Ultimately, your dedication lies in curating memorable experiences through the art of coffee-making and hospitality.
