In our new sophisticated 1891 Bar, the finest products are used to create high-quality cocktails in a contemporary style, where serving them is an art. The Bar Manager is responsible for creating innovative cocktails that delight our guests and deliver an exceptional service that elevate their experience. You will bring innovation to beverages and guest experiences. In this role, you will work with a range of premium spirits, locally sourced ingredients, and unique flavors to craft exceptional and exclusive cocktails. You’ll engage with guests, understand their preferences, and create customized cocktails tailored to their tastes. This level of attention and personalized service adds a special touch to the guest experience and contributes to the overall luxury atmosphere. The Main Responsibilities are:

·         Create a strategic vision for the bar, maintaining a high service standard, including revenue generation.

·         Work alongside the team to design an effective menu and cocktail list, while ensuring excellent product quality

·         Preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, exhibiting a strong knowledge of different cocktails, beverages, and foods.

·         Providing excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making them feel welcome and comfortable.

·         Making recommendations to guests by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the beverage menu, inlaying ingredients, flavours, and presentation of each drink.

·         Mixing and garnishing drinks to meet guest preferences and hotel standards.

·         Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any customer complaints or concerns promptly.

·         Recruit, train, lead, motivate, the bar team, promote the engagement and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Integrate sustainability into all aspects of the bar operations, from sourcing to waste management

Requirements

What you bring:

·         Experience working in a similar role in a Bar in a luxury environment.

·         Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

·         Ability to engage with guests, understand their preferences, make recommendations, and provide a positive experience

·         Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements, proper presentation, and adherence to recipe.

·         Creativity and innovation

·         Passion for luxury hospitality

·         Motivating and collaborative leadership

·         Intermediate computer skills at the user level, such as email, Microsoft, etc.

·         Very good level of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.
