Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings
  • Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other forms
  • Attend court hearings with clients
  • Advise clients on bankruptcy laws and their rights
  • Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients
  • Conduct research on bankruptcy and financial law
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the state
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in bankruptcy law
  • Knowledge of federal bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
