Banking Specialist - Corporate Actions Processing DE

Corporate Actions Processing is a global department based in three different regions Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf), Switzerland (Zurich, Bioggio) and Singapore, responsible for managing Corporate Actions business/processes (announcements, instructions and payments).

• Monitor, plan and execute the daily activities for corporate actions events, to be delivered in accordance with the Service Level Agreements agreed with our Clients
• Monitoring corporate actions including any instruction deadlines
• Preparing and releasing instructions to Custodians
• Booking of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, taking into account withholding tax and foreign withholding tax
• Managing reconciliation for differences arising from corporate actions (cash and securities)
• Inquiries from/to custodians and Clients

• First professional experience in the back office of a bank
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Good team player and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently in a very demanding, fast-paced and complex environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full professional fluency in German and very good English skills

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Experience in the area of corporate actions
• Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System
• Proficiency in other languages
