Backup Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Backup Administrator to join our team in supporting government cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing enterprise-spanning backup and recovery solutions as well as strong experience with backup and recovery solution automation. 

As a Backup Administrator you will: 

• Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions. 

• Perform disaster recovery testing, documentation, and validation exercises. 

• Automate backup operations using Ansible and Morpheus Data. 

• Monitor and troubleshoot backup failures, optimizing storage utilization. 

• Support COOP planning, ensuring business continuity in case of disasters. 

• Maintain backup documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. 

• Work with security teams to enforce backup encryption, access controls, and retention policies. 

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with backup/recovery technologies. 

• Disaster recovery and COOP planning expertise. 

• Automation skills with Ansible. 

• Compliance knowledge for data retention. 

• 3+ years of experience in similar roles 

• US Citizenship Required
