We need a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience who has led the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems in production. At CloudSEK, you will architect and drive critical backend systems that ingest, enrich, and process massive volumes of security signals in real time — systems that demand correctness, performance, and operational resilience.
As an SDE III, you will own architectural direction, influence engineering standards, and make high-impact technical decisions that shape the platform’s long-term scalability. You will work across services, guide complex backend initiatives, and mentor engineers while ensuring our systems remain reliable under unpredictable and high-volume workloads.
This role is for engineers who think beyond individual services — who design for multi-year evolution, anticipate failure modes, and build systems that other engineers depend on.
Skills to build highly scalable and efficient services.
Great programming skills with expertise in Python.
Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, designing and optimising data storage.
Extensive experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
Knowledge of modern programming technologies and approaches (Microservices, Design Patterns, DRY principles, etc.).
Knowledge of basic DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed computing, and event-driven systems.
Additional experience and proficiency in Golang is an added advantage.
