We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in .NET to design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and web APIs. In this role, you will work on technically ambitious projects that serve a variety of clients, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, performant, and secure software delivery. You will contribute to building reusable internal resources, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and creating APIs that support engaging and accessible user interfaces. Accountabilities:

• Estimate, develop, test, and deploy high-quality C# backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and efficient code, and perform debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Design API endpoints to support front-end and mobile teams, ensuring accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
• Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to reusable internal resources such as documentation, patterns, templates, and libraries.
• Collaborate in code reviews, mentor teammates, and uphold engineering standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, reliable, and scalable build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Participate in community initiatives, open-source projects, and knowledge sharing events.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in backend software development, ideally in consulting or cross-functional product teams.
• Strong experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, and building scalable, maintainable web APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, tools, and modern workflows.
• Ability to write performant, well-structured code and thoughtfully designed endpoints.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong personal organization, discipline, and ability to work independently.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to both team and community initiatives.

Bonus skills (optional but advantageous):

• Experience with Kotlin, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android, iOS) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
• Experience with publicly released personal projects or apps.
• Experience speaking, writing, or educating about technical topics.
