What You'll Do
Build and ship backend services that power creator-facing and industry-facing products
Collaborate with product, design, insights, and engineering partners to understand user needs and turn them into scalable solutions
Design, develop, and operate backend systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability
Contribute to infrastructure, tooling, and deployment pipelines that support efficient development and delivery
Take ownership of services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and participating in on-call rotations
Work closely with a cross-functional team to continuously improve how we build and deliver products
Experiment and iterate using data and A/B testing to improve user experiences
Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools, to enhance productivity and code quality
Who You Are
You have experience building and maintaining backend services in a production environment
You are comfortable working with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot
You understand how to design systems that are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain
You care about writing clean, testable code and follow practices like continuous integration and automated testing
You have experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
You are familiar with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
You are comfortable working with monitoring and observability tools
You stay current with evolving technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, and use them thoughtfully in your workflow
You enjoy working collaboratively in a team and contributing to an inclusive and supportive environment

This role is based in New York
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
The United States base range for this position is $125,562- $179,374 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
