What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?
- Have end to end ownership: Design, build, ship, measure and maintain our backend services
- Collaborate with the brightest software engineers team members
- Influence directly on the way billions of people discover the internet

What are the skills a good Software Engineer needs to have?
- Fluent English skills
- BSc in computer science or equivalent
- Deep understanding and strong Computer Science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, applications and multithreading programming
- Able to technically lead and mentor other team members
- Experience developing large scale distributed systems
- 3+ years programming experience with Java or equivalent Object-Oriented language
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience with SQL
Nice to have
- Experience with NoSQL and Big Data tools
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Kafka and Spark
- Experience with AI and Machine Learning
- Front-end tech stack: mainly React.js and Redux
- Experience with various Billing systems and vendors.
