Requirements

Team Leadership & Delivery 

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of developers responsible for DigiTickets’ back-office platform. 

  • Plan and manage development sprints in collaboration with Product and QA teams. 

  • Mentor and support team members, promoting best practices and a collaborative culture. 

  • Track and report on team performance, identifying blockers and facilitating resolution. 

Technical Ownership

  • Act as the technical owner for back-office systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. 

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate roadmap features into robust technical solutions. 

  • Review code, propose architectural improvements, and ensure alignment with platform standards. 

  • Guide the team in managing technical debt and modernising legacy systems. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Support, Security, Infrastructure, and Front-End teams to ensure effective integration of new features and platform consistency. 

  • Support the wider business by improving internal tooling and workflows that rely on the back-office platform. 

  • Provide second-line technical support where necessary to assist with escalated issues. 

Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce high standards for code quality, documentation, and automated testing. 

  • Ensure updates meet internal QA benchmarks and contribute to release planning. 

  • Uphold data protection and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS). 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership or senior developer role, ideally within SaaS or enterprise software. 

  • Strong hands-on coding skills in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., PHP, Go, Symphony, Laravel). 

  • Proven experience leading agile software development teams. 

  • Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices. 

  • Experience managing technical roadmaps and stakeholder expectations. 

  • Confident working with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. 

Desirable 

  • Experience in the attractions, ticketing, or leisure industries. 

  • Familiarity with reporting systems, data pipelines, and system configuration tools. 

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React. 

  • Prior involvement in system re-architecture or platform migration projects.
