Job summary

You’ll build the core APIs and microservices that power DigiCert’s AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — distributed systems that handle trust signals, identity validation, and real-time event processing.

What you will do

Design and develop event-driven microservices and API-driven workflows.
Implement scalable, observable, and secure backend services.
Contribute to data modeling, caching, and performance optimization.
Integrate distributed components with identity and trust layers.
Partner with infrastructure and security engineers to ensure deployability and resilience.
Use modern AI-assisted development workflows to maintain velocity and clarity.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incident postmortems.

What you will have

4+ years of experience building cloud-native backend systems.
Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust.
Experience designing distributed microservices with REST or GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with streaming or messaging systems (Kafka, NATS, or Pub/Sub).
Experience with Postgres, Redis, or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation.
Knowledge of TLS, PKI, DNSSEC, or DANE is desirable.
Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and systems-thinking skills.
