Back-End PHP Software Engineer (f/m/d)

TLDR

Develop core technology using PHP 7.4 and Symfony for processing VAT tax, utilizing AWS services like Docker and RDS while contributing to a collaborative hybrid environment.

As a Back-End Engineer, you will be

responsible for developing our core technology that calculates correct VAT tax by collecting, analysing, consolidating, matching and converting the data from various sources
develop REST endpoints
make sure your code is working correctly, is well-tested, well-written, and does its job

We use Symfony framework, PHP 7.4, and AWS cloud solutions, where you will be using services such as Docker (ECR, ECS, Fargate), RDS (Aurora), API Gateway, SNS/SQS, CloudFormation and others.

Your profile

very strong knowledge of PHP and OOP;
at least 1 year of experience with frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel or similar;
strong knowledge of RMDS and noSQL DB solutions
mastership in automated code and application testing
understanding of REST API
good level of spoken/writing English

It'd be nice if you have experience with some of

golang
AWS or other cloud platforms
DevOps - pipelines, infrastructure as a code, docker
writing Selenium tests
