Job Description – Back End Engineer

Lextech is looking to add a Back End Engineer to the team. You will be responsible for developing well thought out, clean and maintainable code. 

Responsibilities:

• Write clean and maintainable code in a fast-paced environment
• Working on Azure Functions written in NodeJS using CosmosDB
• Provide estimates for the work that you will be doing then meet those estimates
• Participate in all required agile ceremonies
• Quickly identify and track down bugs and implement the most effective solution
• Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features
• Provide consistent communication regarding status to both the Engineering and Business teams

Skills and Competencies/Education:

• Expertise with NodeJS, CosmosDB
• Significant experience with Azure Function Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Application Insights, Azure DevOps
• Significant experience with 3^rd Party API Integration and PowerBI Reporting
• Experience with other Azure Services such as: Key Vault, Networking, Front Door and WAF, API Management Service is a big plus
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
• Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Experience with the Agile methodology
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
