Blueberry's Mission:
Our mission is to turn every family’s living room into their own personal pediatric urgent care. We combine home exam kits, concierge-like access, and AI-enabled Pediatricians to provide affordable and near-instant clinic-level care, 24/7. We believe every child deserves access to top-quality healthcare.
We’ve proven that by drastically improving access and turning healthcare into a consumer-grade experience, we drive better health outcomes for children and families while dramatically reducing medical costs for parents and health plans (up to 50% reduction in ED costs).
We are a mission and values driven company. You can learn more about our values HERE. 🫐 💙

The Opportunity:
Blueberry is looking for a strategic, hands-on B2B Health Plan Marketing Lead to build and own the marketing function that fuels Blueberry’s payer sales pipeline. This is not an events-and-slide-decks role. This is a “build the entire B2B marketing ecosystem” role: Demand gen, payer messaging, content, product marketing, sales enablement, and thought leadership. You will create the positioning, content, and campaigns that educate Medicaid health plans, differentiate Blueberry in a noisy market, and enable our sales team to win partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone who has marketed a digital health offering, or VBC model to health plans–and knows how to communicate both clinical value and financial ROI.
What You’ll Own:
Payer Positioning & Product Marketing
Build the messaging architecture for Medicaid plans, national payers, and employer groups
Own competitive intelligence
Translate complex clinical outcomes and cost-savings data into clear, compelling value propositions
Drive activation/engagement with existing client members
Demand Gen & Pipeline Growth
Create a multi-channel demand gen strategy to drive inbound and outbound pipeline
Build campaigns targeting Medicaid plan executives, care management, utilization management, and provider networks
Develop nurture sequences, email cadences, landing pages, etc.
Define and track marketing attribution and funnel metrics
Sales Enablement
Build a full sales enablement suite including pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI calculators, pilot frameworks, use case libraries, etc.
Create market-specific narratives (Medicaid, Employers, etc.)
Equip the sales team with tailored messaging frameworks
What Success Looks Like (12-18 months):
You’ve built the B2B marketing engine – not just assets
You’ve delivered clear, measurable pipeline lift
You’ve established Blueberry as a credible pediatric solution among Medicaid plans
Sales cycles are shortened because your materials answer objections before the first call
Your campaigns generate qualified meetings, not just generic clicks
Blueberry has an outcomes narrative that lands with CFOs, CMOs, and care management leaders
You’ve made it dramatically easier for a health plan to say “yes!”
Experience You’ll Need:
7-12 years in B2B marketing, with at least 3+ years selling into payers (ideally Medicaid)
Experience marketing healthcare services or digital health solutions – not just SaaS
Proven ability to generate pipeline through targeted campaigns
Strong product marketing & messaging skills; ability to translate clinical outcomes into payer ROI
Excellent writing and storytelling abilities
Experience supporting sales teams in complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Comfort working in a startup – ambiguity, limited resources, and building from scratch
The Reality of the Role
Blueberry is still early in its B2B marketing maturity. This role is for someone who is energized by being both strategist and operator. For the foreseeable future, you will be a team of one. You will write the copy, build the decks, design the campaigns, run the experiments, manage HubSpot, and support the sales team directly. If you need a designer, analyst, or coordinator to get things done, this is not the right fit. If you thrive in an environment where you own the full stack and can build from zero to one, you will love this role.
*Expected salary for this role will be between $140,000 and $175,000 depending on location and experience
