[B24] Senior Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript + Playwright)

Project – the aim you’ll have

Our client is a Scandinavian technology company that provides a comprehensive, cloud-based ERP platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their solution integrates key business functions such as accounting, CRM, project management, time tracking, payroll, and invoicing into a single, unified system. As one of the early adopters of cloud ERP in Europe, the company has a strong track record of driving digital transformation across diverse industries. Their platform is widely used in Northern and Western Europe and is known for improving operational efficiency, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and supporting business process automation.

Position – how you’ll contribute

• Work as a part of a high-impact Test Automation team.
• Estimate and plan test automation activities in the project, specifically leveraging Playwright.
• Develop, extend, and maintain a robust, scalable test automation solution/framework.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable automated tests.
• Assure the stability and reliability of the automated test suite results (minimizing false negatives).
• Setup and optimize continuous auto test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform bug tracking, detailed reporting, and triage automated test failures.
• Become a part of a distributed engineering team, working closely with development and QA teams

Expectations – the experience you need

• 4+ years of overall experience in QA and test automation.
• At least 3 years of experience with the JavaScript/TypeScript tech stack.
• Strong, hands-on experience working with Playwright or another modern test automation tool (e.g., Cypress).
• Proven experience integrating tests with CI systems (specifically GitHub Actions is a plus).
• Deep understanding of test automation methodologies and architecture design principles.
• Deep understanding of core testing processes, experience in test planning, and effort estimation.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate technical quality status to stakeholders on multiple levels.

• Experience with ERP systems or the accounting/finance domain.
• Experience with AI-driven test automation tools.
• Experience with load and performance testing.
• Experience in working in cross-functional and cross-border teams. •
• ISTQB or equivalent quality certification.
