Azure Network Engineer

What are we looking for?

• Design and implement core Azure networking infrastructure including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, VNet peering, User-Defined Routes (UDRs), and hub-and-spoke topologies;
• Configure and manage hybrid connectivity solutions: Azure VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and site-to-site / point-to-site VPNs;
• Implement and maintain network security controls: Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Azure Firewall Manager, DDoS Protection, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, and Web Application Firewall (WAF);
• Set up private access to Azure services using Azure Private Link, Private Endpoints, and Service Endpoints;
• Configure load balancing and traffic distribution: Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, and Traffic Manager;
• Implement DNS solutions (Azure DNS, Private DNS Zones) and outbound connectivity (NAT Gateway, Virtual Network NAT);
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance using Azure Network Watcher, metrics, logs, and diagnostics;
• Automate networking tasks and infrastructure-as-code using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or Terraform;
• Ensure secure and compliant hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity and resolve complex connectivity, latency, and routing issues;
• Proactively identify and mitigate network risks, participate in incident response, and contribute to disaster recovery / business continuity planning.
