As an experienced Azure Engineer at Intercept, you list the wishes and possibilities, you spar with our Azure Consultants and you go the extra mile for our customers! You give our customers solicited and unsolicited advice on complex Microsoft Azure (3rd line) issues and you are not afraid to point them in the right direction.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Engineer for our Continuous Improvement team. You will work on complex issues (often 3rd line) that come in from the software development department of our customers. The work includes the maintenance and improvement of Azure resources within the Azure subscription of our customers. To make sure your job stays versatile, we made sure you weeks contains room for planned and unplanned work. This way you have the time focus on the more complex issues when necessary and enjoy the diversity of the unplanned issues.

You tasks will include:

  • Resolve medium to complex incidents and perform root cause analysis

  • Act as an escalation point for junior engineers and customer care teams

  • Proactively identify and remediate recurring issues

  • Enhance monitoring configurations and address performance bottlenecks

  • Participate in on-call and escalation duty rotations

  • Participate in team learning sessions, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)

  • Perform health checks and performance assessments of Azure environments

  • Create and review customer insight and operational reports

  • Prepare and lead operational review meetings with customers

  • Maintain and continuously improve documentation for configurations, processes, and incident resolutions

  • Identify trends and provide proactive recommendations to improve customer environments and ways of working

Requirements

What makes you a fit for this role?

  • At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, preferably with Microsoft Azure.

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

  • Strong background in DevOps tools such as Helm, Open Telemetry, GitHub, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Linux.

  • Familiarity with industry best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and automation.

  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
