Someone who can translate complex cloud challenges into clear solutions, win the trust of stakeholders, and keep both techies and executives on the same page.  Your toolkit will include Azure, .NET, and DevOps, but your real superpower is sparking the conversations that move projects forward. You know when to challenge, when to simplify, and when to throw in just enough humor to keep a workshop from feeling like a Monday morning.

Responsibilities
As an Azure Architect at Xebia you are the trusted guide who connects customer ambitions with practical solutions. You work directly with stakeholders to understand their goals and challenges, translate those into solid cloud native architectures, and make sure delivery teams have the clarity and confidence to succeed. This role combines technical leadership with consultancy skills: you inspire, you challenge, and you help organizations take the right steps on their cloud journey.

In practice this means: 

• Understanding client needs: engage with stakeholders, from engineers to C-level executives, to uncover the real requirements behind their requests. This is not about checklists, but about truly understanding what they need to succeed. 

• Designing cloud-native solutions: create architectures that leverage Azure services and modern practices like microservices, containers, and Infrastructure as Code. Scalability, security, and maintainability are always top of mind. 

• Collaborating across teams: work closely with developers, product owners, and consultants to ensure that solutions are not just designed well, but actually delivered smoothly. 

• Coaching and mentoring: help your colleagues and client teams grow by sharing knowledge and best practices, ensuring cloud-native thinking spreads through the organization. 

• Leading workshops and proofs of concept: Whether it’s validating a new idea or convincing decision-makers, you’ll facilitate discussions and demonstrate what’s possible with Azure.

We are not looking for a walking checklist of technologies. What makes you stand out as an Azure Architect is the combination of technical depth and consultancy DNA. You can design cloud native solutions, but you also know how to guide a room, ask the right questions, and build trust with both developers and decision makers. You bring clarity where others see complexity, and you are eager to keep growing while helping those around you do the same.

This includes: 

• Strong Azure & .NET experience: you understand how to design and deliver cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, backed by a solid foundation in .NET and modern development practices. 

• Consultancy mindset: you’re comfortable leading discussions, managing expectations, and sometimes challenging clients to think differently. You don’t just provide answers, you guide the conversation. 

• Hands-on with modern tools: you know your way around Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures. 

• Collaboration and communication: you can explain complex technical concepts in a way that both developers and executives understand. Empathy and clarity are part of your toolkit. 

• Curiosity and growth drive: technology never stands still, and neither do you. You’re eager to keep learning, experimenting, and sharing your insights with others.
