Mandatory: Atleast 1 Migration project experience. Must be strong on both Migration and Infra performance tuning.

Job Description

AWS Cloud SA must provide guidance and industry best practice recommendation to successfully migrate on-prem applications & tools to AWS cloud. AWS SA should also consider secure, resilient, efficient, and operational excellence in the solution approach provided. AWS SA should have mix of business & technical knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large scale distributed, monolithic computing solutions, experience in deep architecture discussions, and hands on experience. You will partner with Enterprise Architects, development, and other teams to craft AWS migration strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct analysis and recommendations associated with the migration of specific on-prem applications to AWS cloud.
• Provide AWS cloud migration strategy and frameworks.
• Work with a variety of legacy applications, platforms, and with application teams to migrate associated components to AWS cloud.
• Perform technical analysis, verification and evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability for any issues pertaining to migration.
• Assist with cloud migration efforts and strategy and provide guidance on how to address high-risk issues.

Candidate must have

• In-depth knowledge of the AWS cloud architectural principles and AWS services used to develop technical cloud solutions.
• Working knowledge of migrating monolithic /distributed applications to AWS cloud
• Experience working in a customer-facing role.
• Certification: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C02)
• 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of IT solutions (including scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures)
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodology
• Experience with integration between public cloud services and on-premises technologies/platforms

Candidates may have:

• BA/BS degree with 10+ years of professional experience on IT/ICT/Telecom industry
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
