As a part of the organization, AWS DevOps Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure mainly AWS
Work closely with software engineering team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
Automate infrastructure with Terraform
Manage Linux based systems, implement fixes for vulnerabilities
Monitor and analyze infrastructure and systems for security threats, performance issues and take proactive actions.

Qualifications:

Must have:

3-5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure for high-volume web applications.
Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
Experience with AWS CLI tools and APIs
Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments, knowledge of AWS best practices
Good grasp of AWS VPC and networking along with Linux system administration
Experience with CI/CD tools and implementing deployment automation.
Experience with Docker, Git, Github Actions/webhooks, Redis cluster, Postgres, Nginx, and managing applications on AWS
Expertise in scripting languages
Good grasp of at least one programming language e.g. Python, Ruby etc
Good understanding of Jenkins and Terraform.
Computer Science Degree or equivalent

Good to have:

AWS certifications
Experience in managing high volume RubyOnRails & ReactJS applications
Good written and verbal communication(English)
