AWS DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven AWS DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and modern infrastructure practices. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also proactive and takes pride in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You should have several years of experience managing complex cloud-based architectures, and a strong desire to optimize and automate everything.

You’ll work closely with our agile development teams, participate in planning and deployments, and play a key role in supporting and evolving our AWS-hosted infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Lead system design and infrastructure planning activities to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions to support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, deployment, and system health.

• Participate in reengineering and modernization of legacy applications to fully leverage AWS capabilities.

• Optimize systems and architecture through automation and performance tuning.

• Improve and maintain the DevOps toolchain used for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.

• Support key infrastructure components and ensure high levels of uptime and availability.

• Collaborate with development teams to support microservices deployment strategies and troubleshoot full-stack issues.

• Participate in sprint planning and work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

• Provide technical leadership in DevOps best practices and mentor junior team members.

• Ensure alignment with company strategy, standards, and security policies.

Tech Stack & Tools We Use:

• Languages/Frameworks: PHP, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js

• Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Web Servers & Databases: Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL

• Logging/Monitoring: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Tools: Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes

• Project Management: Jira Agile

• Advanced troubleshooting skills across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing, storage and distributed services layers.
• Experience designing Continuous Integration / Delivery systems of large scale multi - language software development.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and releasing software into production using the AWS stack.
• Experience with building, shipping and running distributed containers and microservices in production environment.
• Deep understanding and experience with LEMP stack (Linux, NGINX, MySQL, PHP).
• Deep understanding of version control systems and all the stages of software development life cycle.
• Strong base for software architecture and design including inter-process
• communications, asynchronous processing, micro-services, message queuing, interfaces, and API development.
