As a Manager / Delivery Manager, you will collaborate with Storm Reply resources and clients to derive, develop and deliver business and technology solutions and service offerings using AWS technology. You will collaborate with Storm Reply and Client architects, engineers and project managers, providing them with the necessary support and tools to ensure successful project execution in alignment with strategic objectives and client expectations. You will work with Clients by managing solution delivery and associated project teams where those teams may be solely Storm Reply resources or combinations of Storm Reply and Client or only Client resources as needed.
Responsibilities
Support design, development and delivery of business and technology solutions using Amazon Web Services products, services and platform offerings
Collaborate with clients to determine how to best resolve client business and technology challenges including change management and adoption strategies, metrics, key performance indicators and relevant business and/or technology objectives to be achieved
Use Storm, Reply and industry best practices to deliver client solutions effectively and in a quality-focused manner
Provide project / portfolio status, project financials and executive dashboarding in a timely manner to clients and Storm Reply as necessary and appropriate to operate the respective businesses
Engage AWS partner resources where necessary and applicable to demonstrate capabilities of AWS platforms, products and services in client pursuits, AWS industry events and client engagements
Participate in the Storm Reply business development activities including but not limited to, client meetings, solution development, proposal / Statement-of-Work writing, client and project management as necessary to meet Storm Reply, AWS and Client business objectives
Work independently and in client-facing roles as needed to support Storm Reply and client businesses
Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years of experience implementing AWS-based solutions in client environments
Demonstrated work in Agile™ development environments, working knowledge of Scrum™, Agile™ ceremonies, planning activities and project cadence
Preferred Qualifications
Maintain AWS certification in one or more areas as a certified AWS Solution Architect – Associate or similar (as provided by AWS Certification and Training)
Maintain working up-to-date knowledge of AWS products and services available to customers and their general uses
Experience with AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), AWS Well-Architected Program, AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), other AWS partner programs
Demonstrated experience in delivered client projects in one or more AWS platforms such as but not necessarily limited to: Amazon Connect, AWS Location Services, AWS Braket, Amazon Sagemaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, Amazon Lightsail, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Supply Chain, AWS Outposts, AWS IoT, AWS CloudFormation, AWS EKS, AWS Elemental/Media Services, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Managed Blockchain, Amazon RedShift, Amazon Amplify, Amazon Code Development tools
Demonstrated experience with other project management methodologies including but not necessarily limited to waterfall, iterative, Kanban, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, Extreme Programming (XP)
Project Management Institute Professional Certification (PMP)
Masters or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Digital Technology or related field
