What you'll be doing

The Awards Team is looking for an Awards and Events Associate to manage the operation of our beauty and lifestyle award programs. You will be the person to help bring our awards campaigns to life! Managing critical processes from initial product submissions to the final celebration and you'll report directly into the Head of Awards and will oversee the following;

  • Event planning and production: finding venues, sourcing vendors, coordinating events on site.
  • Judge Recruitment: identify and reach out to leading beauty experts to recruit and manage our diverse and experienced judging panel.
  • Data & Contact List Management: Maintaining our contact database, and assisting in research to find new relevant beauty brands to bring into the campaigns
  • Brand communications: Manage communication with entrants, winners, and important partners, maintaining a and brand-aligned tone
  • Product Submissions: Handle the unpacking, organizing, and cataloging of product submissions, ensuring that all samples are recorded and distributed to judges.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Event coordination and staffing experience, in a Luxury or PR industry
  • An interest in the beauty and fashion industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to match brand tone and language
  • Knowledge of the current awards events in New York, is advantage but not needed
  • Previous working experience with editorial staff or a similar department
  • Database or Data entry experience (Google Sheets or Excel, CRMS)
