  • Act as a key member of the North American Sales Leadership team, contributing to broader strategy, policy, and organizational development.
  • Drive predictability and rigor across the entire sales process, from pipeline generation through deal closure.

Revenue and Performance

  • Own and exceed the regional revenue target (quota) for the Western territory across new logos and expansion business.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics daily, conducting thorough pipeline reviews, forecasting, and deal inspections to ensure accuracy and drive velocity.
  • Ensure consistent use of sales methodologies and CRM best practices across the team.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Alliances, and Customer Success to maximize market penetration and customer value realization.

Team Development and Enablement

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent (both Directors and Account Executives).
  • Provide continuous coaching and development to sales leaders and their teams on enterprise selling, negotiation, and cybersecurity value proposition.
  • Ensure the team is fully enabled on Torq’s product capabilities, competitive landscape, and value proposition.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, within the enterprise software or cybersecurity space.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise sales across the Western United States, with deep familiarity with the territory, major accounts, and channel partners.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market, particularly in the areas of SOAR, automation, security operations, or related platforms.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High level of business acumen, with the ability to articulate Torq's value to CISOs and business leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region (Western US).
