Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Field Engineer with strong hands-on installation experience and proficiency in control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX. This role is responsible for the on-site implementation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of integrated AV systems across a variety of environments, including corporate offices, education facilities, and commercial spaces. Active Secret clearance or higher required, involves local travel around DC metro area.
Responsibilities:
Perform field installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, control systems, and networking components.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX).
Interpret AV system designs, CAD drawings, schematics, and scope-of-work documentation.
Conduct site surveys and collaborate with project managers, system designers, and clients to ensure successful system integration.
Perform quality assurance testing and system validation to ensure performance aligns with project specifications.
Provide client training and system documentation handover.
Identify and resolve issues during and after installation, offering technical support when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety guidelines at all times.
Travel to client sites as required
